    Each shows the delicacy of the grasses, but the macro gives us a shadowy background and then details that show off the dried seedpods. Happy Photo Challenge.

      Ah! Thank you for the encouragement… I’ve thought many times to cut back and sometimes even stop posting because it takes up so much time, but I can’t… It’s been three wonderful years and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it… 🙂

    I use both or either one depending on what I am trying to accomplish, or more often, what strikes my fancy. Of your two photos above, the distant shot seems more powerful to me. –Curt

    I like them both, but I prefer the macro. It has such a feeling of peace. It would be a great entry in the Weekly Photo Challenge at WordPress today, as the theme is “Serenity.”
