Butterflies sweet as nectar…
Prancing from branch to branch…
Freely flying high…
I had a real hard time photographing the butterflies. They wouldn’t stand still long enough for the shots. They had me sweating… I spent two hours admiring and chasing after them…

Thanks… I loved the place… I as trying the manual setting on my camera and screwed up the automatic settings and I had such a hard time getting clear pictures… Thank goodness I had a handful of nice ones… I’ll get there eventually… 🙂

Oh my! well worth the “sweat” kiddo…just beautiful! They do flutter so much don’t they? You are very patient!! That reminds me, I shoudl check out our May butterfly week at the Montreal Botanical Gardens…I’ve only been once but now, well…this shot sure inspired this visit.

I was told to try and go on a day that isn’t as sunny and hot… They flutter less when is cooler… Good luck… It was just enjoying the scenery with this huge smile of my face… Hope people didn’t I was nuts, but I felt like a child watching…
