The Florida Wetlands

Yesterday, we traveled to an exotic beautiful park…

The scenery wild and free…

Birds, ducks, and baby chicks to appreciate…

In awe of all that surrounded us…

The natural beauty engulfed us…

Before long the moon shined on…

Silhouettes forming before our eyes…

And one my favorite, “Silhouette of Birds and the Full Moon”…

  2. Beautiful and haunting by turns, these photographs bring the wetlands into my territory where I can enjoy them.

  3. About a decade ago, pelicans began to visit a nearby lake during their migration. What began as simple “feeding the ducks” weekends turned into some great bird watching. I love the pictures!

  5. I also can not go to a place like the Everglades and not come away filled with hope and pretty pictures 🙂

  6. Beautiful photos! They remind me of how much I miss my waterfront property where I was visited often by blue herons. I have always had a fascination for birds…I think it is their free spirited nature that appeals to me.
