On our trip to San Antonio, TX, we visited Mission San Jose. 

The rooms in this particular housing community within the mission had small opening as windows…  Wow!  No protection from outside insects; no air-conditioner or heater…  Made me be very grateful for all the improvements we have today…

    I have been to San Antonio many times but never got a chance to visit the mission
