I’m so out of touch with the news that I had not heard about the huge typhoon that occurred in the Philippines…

My heart goes out to all those poor souls that perished and bless all those left behind to deal with all their losses…

In American we complain about how slow things move when we go through a disaster…  I suppose the red tape our government has created slows down the process of doing what needs to be done fast enough, but it gets done…

We take so much for granted.  Our homes are built to withstand high winds…  We have shutters and prepare way ahead of time for what’s expected…  We have codes and rules and much red tape, but they’re there for a reason, “To protect us”…

Unless something unforeseen transpires, minimal lives are lost and our lives seem to go back to normal in no time…

This does not happens in other countries.  I cannot imagine going through a hurricane living in a shack…  You can see from the rubble what types of walls and roofs they had…  So sad!

I’ll be doing that today. I usually send our planet daily energy, but the more people do it the better off we all are… No matter what religion we are from, prayer is good and powerful…

The Philippines were one of the most ill-equipped to deal with such a monstrous storm. Peace and prayers to the people.

It is just so difficult to stay positive when so much devastation is happening all around… I avoid the news, but I also want to be connected… Whenever I decide to watch a little of it, I see shooting in NJ mall and in Los Angeles airport and then the typhoon. I don’t want to turn that knob on again…
