Daily Prompt: A Friend in Need

Finish this sentence: “My closest friend is…”

My closest friend is the sister I never had…  My best friend and I speak almost every day…  There isn’t one thing that goes wrong or good in each other’s lives that we do not tell each other.  I get out of work looking forward to hearing my best friend’s stories.  She is a great story-teller.  There is always something going on in her life and I love to hear about it… 

We laugh like two idiots at the stupidest things…  We are in our early 50’s with a thirties mind…

We have cried together and laughed together…  We are always there for each other no matter what… 

We live a couple of states apart, but distance has not put a dent on our friendship…  When we see each other once or twice a year, we have a blast…

I miss her dearly and wish she headed down to Florida soon and not when we can’t walk or do much either…  Now would be a good time for the move…  Waiting for that moment to come… 

Hope we have many more years full of laughter and fun together…
