Daily Prompt: A Mystery Wrapped in an Enigma

Tell us something most people probably don’t know about you.

Most people who know me do not know I grew up on a farm until I came to the United States at age 7.   I am extremely grateful for those wonderful moments on the farm.  I was free to roam around.  No care or worries in the world.  I hung out with a bunch of cousins and it didn’t matter if we had shoes or not and got cuts in our feet.  It was all about running free.  Wouldn’t have had that experience if I would have been born in the United States, but I am very glad to have grown-up here.  I guess this is just the way it was suppose to be…

Another thing most people do not know about me is that despite growing up on a farm and always having animals around, I am not fond of animals.  Animals need tending and I do not have the time or patience for them, but if I had to choose the type of pet to have, it would have to be a monkey.  That is my favorite animal.  All throughout my childhood, I would ask for a monkey…  I remember going to the zoo at age five or six and stealing a baby monkey that kept coming in and out of the cage.  I carefully place him inside my blouse and only showed him when I was out of the zoo.  You could imagine my parent’s surprise when I showed them what I had acquired from the zoo…  Of course, they made me go back and return it…
