Daily Prompt: Freedom of Facebook

Facebook has recently come under attack for failing to enforce its own guidelines on hate speech and violent imagery. Is it a website’s job to moderate the content its users post, or should users have complete freedom? Is there a happy medium? If so, how would you structure it?

FB

I believe there should “Not” be any censoring on Facebook.  It should be everyone’s right to write or post anything they want, but I also have the choice to befriend or reject anyone that posts profanity…  I do not have to read it or take it…  All I do is, cancel them out of my friends list and if they’re fresh enough to ask why, I am fresh enough to let them know…  I’ve done this many times and I do not regret it one bit…  I also don’t think it is a good idea to befriend every Tom, Dick, and Harry out there…  Know who your friends are…
