Daily Prompt: Elevator

Non-fiction writers: You’re stuck in an elevator with a person from your past. Write this scene.
I’m stuck in the elevator for a good twenty minutes with a group of about twenty friends and all because we went over the weight limit… We all tried squeezing in and the elevator stopped in between floors and wouldn’t budge. We started laughing and carrying on except for one person. She was freaking out and started hyper ventilating over the situation. We had to stop laughing and focus on calming her down and helping her relax through the funny ordeal which she didn’t seem to find amusing at all… Finally, after what seemed as an eternity, the elevator started moving again…

Now, I do not get in a crowed elevator.  I wait for the next one unless the operator says otherwise…
