We can continue to be ignorant
Or make a conscious choice to acquire knowledge…
We have options as adults…
An innate ability to learn…
We can keep faulting society, our parents, our friends…
For all our imperfections…
But change lies within ourselves…
It’s up to each one of us…
To find approaches to improve each day…
Rome wasn’t built in a day…
Takes time to learn new ways…
But you’ll be surprised to find…
When we truly want something…
How resilient and smart we all are…
And how quickly we can learn…
“Realize knowledge will give you power”…
And no one can take that away…
