Confused…
Didn’t know where I was at first…
Woke up in a haze…
Couldn’t get my eyes to open…
Coffee was not waking me…
Body felt heavy…
In slow motion…
Shower felt somewhat refreshing…
Stood and let the warm water drizzle down…
Then the image of my dream appeared…
Was so lovely…
Sitting by a waterfall…
Sound of water so soothing…
I was in someone’s arms…
Can recall with who…
But it felt comforting…
Nice having someone to hold on to…
Everything else is a fog…
Suddenly the alarm rang…
And I did not want to wake-up…
Wanted my dream back…
Hesitated and closed my eyes…
No dream in sight…
Eventually, had get-up…
Time to face the morning rush…
