Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a child. What became of it?
As a child I was not attached to one single item, but many items… I use to go around collecting various items from the street… I wanted to be a teacher and I use to put all my prize collections in a box which I kept under my bed. I would pick-up gum wrappers to use as pretty paper for art projects and also would cut out pretty pictures from magazines for the same purpose… I would keep decorative pencils and pens in my box to share with the class… I would take wood clothes pins and paint it and keep in my box… I can’t remember what else I kept in there, but it was a shoe box full of goodies…
We used to make long chains out of gum wrappers like the headband made out of Starburst wrappers in your picture. Simple pleasures.

I also use to make long chains with gum wrappers… It’s amazing what kids get into… It was fun though…

I was in love with this stuffed dog that spoke when you squeezed him. He said, “My name is Napper. Oh I get so lonely! Rrrrub my tummy!” Interestingly, I still have him, and he still works perfectly. Now my sons get to enjoy him. 🙂
