Wow… Last post of the month… Can’t believe January is over… Time sure flies by quickly… We really need to make the best of every minute in our lives…
Today was a celebration in our department… Halloween is a huge affair at GTP… Each department comes up with a theme and decorate their area accordingly. The judging is based on originality and best set-up. There’s a first, second, and third prize for small and large groups. There’s also one prize to the best costume… Our department won first place in the small group category and our prize was a pizza party… Out theme was outer space – Martians and astronauts…
For those wondering why in January… Well! We sort of forgot all about it due to the holidays and all the stuff going on at work… Glad we left it for January because it gave us something to do when all the festivities were over…
Nick’s New Haven Pizza & Bar is unique… It consists of two bars and one open’s to outside customers… It is in a dark wood and the ceiling is wallpaper in a vintage style… I would have never thought about wallpaper in the ceiling… I enjoyed the ambiance, but also the food… The medium pizzas are more like double large… There humongous… Wait to you see the pics… And the various salads all looked very appealing… We tried the spinach and steak and also a house salad… Loved both… It sure was nice to be treated for lunch… Thanks GTP…
