It’s my responsibility…
To teach my children love, respect, and manners…
And hope they will grow into sensible adults…
Making choices based on love not greed…
Hoping they will stand up for what they believe…
Without stepping on others in order to get ahead…
I continue to wish I had them always by my side…
But I know fully well I need to release them…
And since I can’t always protect them…
I hope and pray they will always be safe and guided…
By a higher source than me…
