Started baking for tomorrow… I’ve made Coconut Macaroons, Guava Cheesecake, and a delicious Chocolate Cake.
Here’s the recipe for the chocolate cake… Enjoy! It melts in your mouth….
The secret to making the cake is using a light-colored bundt pan (the dark ones make the cake less moist). Use the Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Cake mix and follow the directions from the box…
The frosting recipe is:
½ cup (1 stick) butter
½ cup milk
¾ cup white sugar
1 (12 oz.) bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips (only use Nestle brand)
Melt butter and stir in sugar and milk in a medium-sized pot. Cook on medium high heat and stir continually on a slow boil for a few minutes. Add chocolate chips and turn heat to low temperature. Continue stirring until all the chips are melted and then pour on top of the cake. For any of the fudge left over after you serve the cake, you can warm up and serve over vanilla ice cream because it tastes like hot fudge.
If anyone wants the recipe for the macaroons, please ask in the comment section and I will post it. I posted the recipe for guave cheesecake last month.
