Decorations…

My house has been decorated for Christmas some time now, but I’m no too satisfied with the results. Everyone that has stop by and visited has loved the way I’ve decorated, but I feel I have too much of some things or not enough of others… I guess, I just want it look like some of the lovely homes portrayed in Flamingo Toes (my favorite home blog)… Those homes resemble something out of a magazine and I can’t seem to get it just right… Maybe next year I’ll try making my own ornaments and decorations so I can feel betteerrr…

Here are some of my favorite spots:

Kitchen window is definitely my favorite place… Have added some Christmas candles and Santa’s for appeal. The dining room china cabinet received a boost with Christmas balls and plates… Added an ornament of a voluminous lady making the centerpiece somewhat interesting to look at. She reminds me of me in a couple of years… The stairs with the wooden soldiers is also pretty awesome…  Those are my favorite decorations… I add wooden soldiers throughout my home…  Some small and some bigger…  Looks so cute….

In the next couple of days I’ll post some more pics of the upstairs…

After looking at it and doing the gallery, it doesn’t look half bad… Pretty nice… Enjoy…

I have finally stopped trying to have the picture perfect holiday house. I do what I like and that’s it. Okay, I still kinda hope other people like it, but if they don’t I try not to let it bother me. It’s my house, they don’t have to live here. Sounds like you are the one not satisfied though. Your window looks great. It’s simple and attractive. Too much stuff just makes everything look cluttered.
