Alarming…

Dear me:

I have been out of commission since falling…  Not in pain from surgery, but from landing on the concrete…  I just dropped like a hot potato and had to stay put until someone came around and helped me up…  Doctor’s advice:  No lifting, kneeling, crawling, picking-up anything…  As a good patient I waited for what seemed like hours for help…  I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry…  Nevertheless, I stood my ground and waited patiently…

I’m ok, but the pain finally kicked in last night…   My meds have been doubled and I’m starting to feel somewhat normal now, but it has been an ordeal and a half…  Then, I turn on the news and my pain seems like a speck of nothing compared to what some parents need to face tonight after hearing their child has died in the hands of a shooter in the safety of their school…  Life has a way of changing in seconds…  It’s just so shocking…  Hard to comprehend…

I refuse to give in to the drama though and focus on prayer and love…  I’ll be sending my love out into the world and hope it reaches those in need… My heart goes out to all affected…
